AABRI Conference Submission
Style Guidelines and Tracks

Conference Style Guidelines

APA formatting is suggested (but not required) for proceeding's manuscripts, work-in-progress and abstracts.

All manuscripts, works-in progress and abstracts must be submitted in either Microsoft Word or RTF format. PDF files will not be accepted for conference-proceedings publication.

Manuscripts, including conference best-paper award winner, must comply with the current AABRI Style Guidelines website prior to consideration for journal publication.

Completed manuscripts, works-in-progress, research proposals and abstracts are invited for submission. Empirical studies, meta-analysis studies, case studies and research overviews are appropriate for presentation.

All completed manuscripts presented at AABRI conferences are peer reviewed as part of the best-paper awards process. Completed manuscripts presented at AABRI conferences may be double-blind peer reviewed by AABRI journal reviewers at the request of the conference participant upon registration.

Conference Tracks

All AABRI conferences have five tracks accepting papers covering the following topics:

Accounting / Economics / Finance
The Accounting / Finance / Economics track accepts original abstracts, works-in-process or manuscripts related to accounting, finance or economics. Studies related to financial and accounting topics in business and education reflecting issues and solutions to concerns like budgeting, taxation, methods, investments, regulatory procedures, and any economics-related topic are appropriate.

Education / Assessment / Instructional Pedagogies
The Education / Instructional Pedagogies track accepts original abstracts, works-in-process or manuscripts related to retention, financial management in higher education, new program development, curriculum and recruitment. Educational topics related to delivery methods, implementation of classroom technologies, distance learning, class activities and assessment are also appropriate topics.

Management / Marketing / MIS
The Management / Marketing / MIS track accepts original abstracts, works-in-process or manuscripts related to management, marketing, or management information systems. Studies related to contemporary issues in management, organizational behavior, organizational development, leadership, marketing, technology implementation, technology application and utilization, development, or functional evaluation in a business environment are appropriate for consideration.

Case Studies
Cases can illustrate classroom theoretical principles by demonstrating something that has happened out in the real world (in accounting, economics, finance, marketing, global/international, management, strategy, law, entrepreneurship, decision sciences, information technology), or fictitious cases that provide classroom exercises for students.

Criminal Justice/Legal Studies
The Criminal Justice / Legal Studies track accepts original abstracts, works-in-process or manuscripts related to Criminal Justice, court decisions, business law, and other legal studies.
