The AABRI 2012 San Antonio Conference provides authors with a venue to present their completed research, work-in-progress, or research proposals to an audience of academics from across the nation and internationally.

Registering for the Academic and Business Research Institute Conference - San Antonio 2012 includes:

  • Your manuscript, work-in-progress, research proposals, or abstract is published in the conference online proceedings.
  • Empirical studies, meta-analysis studies, case studies and research overviews are appropriate for presentation.
  • AABRI publishes 17 peer-reviewed journals. AABRI journals are listed in Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities, Index Copernicus, EBsco Host Publishing Services, ProQuest, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
  • Completed manuscripts may be submitted to one of the journals for publication review. Review fees are waived for papers presented at the conference (normal publishing fees apply).
  • All abstracts/manuscripts submitted to the conference are reviewed for content and appropriateness to the conference tracks. Complete manuscripts submitted will be peer reviewed in consideration for best-paper awards.
  • AABRI journal editors will select a Best Paper Award winner from each track and a Best Paper of Conference winner. Best Paper Awards will be announced in the conference program.
  • Best Paper of Conference winner will be reviewed and published in the appropriate AABRI journal with no review or publishing fees (subject to accepted editorial and peer review). Additionally, the Best Paper of Conference winner is invited to participate in an upcoming AABRI conference with no conference fee charge.
  • Reservations at the Drury can be made by reserving online, go to www.druryhotels.com or by calling 1-800-325-0720 and refer to group number 2119840. Hotel reservations received after Friday, March 2, 2012 will be provided on a space-available basis at regular hotel rates.
  • Free breakfast at Drury, hot fresh pancakes, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage and more.
  • From 5:30-7:00 pm each evening, kick back, relax and enjoy a rotating menu of hot foods and cold beverages in the hotel lobby.
  • The Drury Plaza is located on the world-famous San Antonio River Walk. Stroll along the River Walk among the many restaurants and lounges. Take a cruise on one of the river tour boats.   • The Drury Plaza is just a few block walk from the Alamo and the historic San Antonio Market Square
