Author Biography:

Mary L. Tucker is a Professor of Management at Ohio University. Her PhD was granted by the University of New Orleans; her dissertation research focused on Transformational Leadership. Current research interests include leadership and management pedagogy. She has provided leadership training for both private and public sector organizations, including the American Association of Highway Transportation Officials, 3M, and State Farm.

Krystal Geyer is the Associate Director of The Center for Entrepreneurship at Ohio University. She was previously the assistant director of the Entrepreneurship Center at Ball State. Prior to that, she spent several years creating innovation and entrepreneurship programming for students from first years to postdocs at Ohio State University. Her biggest priority and joy in life is helping students of all ages find their passions, create value, and succeed.

Moumita Das Gyomlai is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Ohio University. Her PhD was granted by HEC Paris, France; her dissertation research focused on Luxury Brand Management and Sales. Her current research interests include luxury brand management, sales management, strategic acquisitions, identity integration, and the future of work. Before academia, she spent four years at L’Oréal in a senior managerial role managing multiple brands.

Shawnee Meek is an Associate Professor of Instruction of Management and Director of the Human Resources Certificate Program at Ohio University. She teaches strategic business communication and human resources. Current research interests include workplace effectiveness, positivity, and leadership. She has provided leadership training for both private and public-sector organizations, including Global Cooling and Gallop NYC.

Dr. Andrew Pueschel is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the College of Business at Ohio University. He serves as the Director of the Center for International Business Education and Development (CIBED) and the Director of Diversity, Internships, and Prospects for the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre. Andrew received his PhD in Instructional Leadership and Management from Robert Morris University and his Master’s in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz School. His research interests include sales training and development, leading for wellness, positivity, leadership, and culture change.

Tim Reynolds is an Executive in Residence and Associate Professor of Instruction for the Management Department in the College of Business at Ohio University. He holds a Masters in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University. Tim joined Ohio University with 25 years of corporate experience in leading Fortune 500 companies including Marathon Oil Company, Abbott Laboratories, Johns-Manville Corporation, and Whirlpool Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Talent and Organizational Development.

James Strode is an Associate Professor of Sports Administration at Ohio University and serves as the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs in the College of Business. Jim received his PhD in Sport and Exercise Management from The Ohio State University. His research interests lie in philanthropy in intercollegiate athletics, coaching effectiveness, and Gender Equity and Inclusion in sport leadership.
