Kevin A. Cojanu

Dr. Kevin Cojanu has 30+ years of leadership in multiple management fields including project management, global program management, application development, call center development and leadership, IT Leadership, Corporate training and development, Efficiency and Business Consulting working in the technology industry with Texas Instruments and Hewlett-Packard. Dr. Cojanu’s business focus has been in for-profit business at all levels of organizations to increase effectiveness and improve retention of skilled staff. Dr. Cojanu has engaged in research focused on staff development to gain skills by applying experiential and reality-based learning techniques. He is currently Founder and CEO of Pole Star Experiential Learning, a startup organization committed to developing competencies for individuals to prepare properly for a career. These opportunities are available for high school, first time college, adult learners, employment-challenged, Workforce Development, and our Veterans who are leaving the service and need something civilian on their Resume or need to hone their skills to build Competencies to become employment ready.

Dr. Cojanu received his bachelor’s Degree in Business from National-Louis University and his Master's degree in eCommerce from National-Louis University. And he earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Management from Capella University. And a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Susan Pettine

Susan Pettine is a business practitioner with 35 years of experience in human resources, risk management, legal affairs, finance, and accounting. Susan has served as both a Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, both of which included oversight of the organizational HR function. Susan has been teaching in an online business program since 2006. Currently she is a professor at Purdue University Global (PG). She also serves as the Chair of the Institutional Review Board at PG. Susan has a bachelor’s degree in Education from Rhode Island College. She received her MBA from Nova Southeastern University. And Susan earned her Ph.D. at Capella University. Susan is also a Certified Business Manager, a member of the international business honor society, Sigma Beta Delta, and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.

Lori Slater

Lori Slater has more than 30 years of corporate experience. She worked with Hewlett Packard in Operations and Project Management. Her background includes supply chain management as well as experience working with SAP. In her work with Polestar Experiential Learning, her focus and expertise is with design and implementation of business strategy and support of strategic partnerships. Lori has been teaching in online universities and colleges since 2009. Lori has a B.A. from National Louis University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Ph.D. from Capella University. Additionally, she has a Project Management Professional certification.
